As an apprentice Software Developer at National Express, your work based learning will involve:
Making individual contributions as part of a project team via a weekly process based on the Scrum framework (including participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, status updates, internal sprint demos) and work with your technical lead and a digital producer to deliver work for our clients.
Writing clean, high quality code (in PHP, JavaScript, among others) and producing semantic HTML and carefully crafted CSS.
Troubleshooting and solving technical and complex problems, resulting in easy to change and flexible solutions.
Testing and demonstrating your work, refining and incorporating feedback, and deploying code to our development and staging environments.
Spending time reviewing and responding to client requests directly via our support help desk.
