As an apprentice Software Developer at National Express, your work based learning will involve:

• Making individual contributions as part of a project team via a weekly process based on the Scrum framework (including participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, status updates, internal sprint demos) and work with your technical lead and a digital producer to deliver work for our clients.

• Writing clean, high quality code (in PHP, JavaScript, among others) and producing semantic HTML and carefully crafted CSS.

• Troubleshooting and solving technical and complex problems, resulting in easy to change and flexible solutions.

• Testing and demonstrating your work, refining and incorporating feedback, and deploying code to our development and staging environments.

• Spending time reviewing and responding to client requests directly via our support help desk.
