About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and adaptable Internal Communications Executive to join us here at Mobico Group. You will help deliver clear, engaging, and inspiring communications across our organisation. You’ll play a key role in keeping colleagues informed and connected, supporting both internal and selected external initiatives.

This is a hands-on role involving content creation, campaign delivery, light design work, intranet and channel management, and day-to-day comms operations. You’ll also help foster strong communications practices across our global teams.

Why Join Us?

You’ll be part of a small, supportive team that encourages creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning. We value fresh ideas, initiative, and shared success. Whether you're honing your writing skills, experimenting with AI tools, or building your experience in corporate or operational comms, we’ll give you space to grow.

What you can expect:

  • A culture where your voice is heard and your work matters
  • Exposure to both corporate and frontline communications
  • A collaborative network of communicators across the UK and globally

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll focus on communications for our corporate centre and support activity across our National Express Bus and Coach business in the UK. You'll work closely with:

  • Group and UK executive teams
  • HR and business support teams
  • Communication professionals across our international operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Write compelling, audience-appropriate content for announcements, newsletters, intranet features, and leadership updates
  • Campaign Delivery: Plan and execute engaging, multi-channel campaigns aligned with company culture, values, change, and employee engagement
  • Intranet & Channel Management: Keep the intranet fresh, engaging, and easy to navigate. Maintain communication platforms including email tools and digital signage
  • Design Support: Create simple, effective visual content using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or PowerPoint
  • Comms Admin: Maintain calendars, distribution lists, templates, and performance tracking systems
  • Employee Engagement: Support internal initiatives including our "Your Voice" survey, events, and recognition programmes
  • Cross-Group Collaboration: Coordinate with communicators across the business to align messaging and share best practices
  • External Support: Help update the corporate website and write LinkedIn posts that showcase our culture and achievements

What You’ll Bring

  • A degree in Communications or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills across different formats and audiences
  • Confidence working with intranet platforms (e.g. SharePoint, Unily), CMS tools (e.g. WordPress), and design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe)
  • Strong organisation and planning skills; detail-oriented and proactive
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

We’re committed to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace. If you’re excited by this role but don’t meet every qualification, we still encourage you to apply
